For All the Nuts That Hate the Obama Palin Shoe Shine Pic

You couldn't get a job at McDonalds and become district manager after 143 days of experience.> > You couldn't become chief of surgery after 143 days of experience of being a surgeon.>
> You couldn't get a job as a teacher and be the superintendent after 143 days of experience.> > You couldn't join the military and become a colonel after 143 days of experience.>
> You couldn't get a job as a reporter and become the nightly news anchor after 143 days of experience.
>
>
> > BUT....'From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working. After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World .... 143 days.>
> We all have to start somewhere. The senate is a good start, but after 143 days, that's all it is - a start.
> > AND, strangely, a large sector of the American public is okay with this and campaigning for him. We wouldn't accept this in our own line of work, yet some are okay with this for the President of the United States of America ? Come on folks, we are not voting for the next American Idol!

Zen,

It seems you were the victim of a coordinated attack from the devoid of humor left wing.

They're all probably still hyper-ventalating, thank God they didn't see the Chappelle video.

For all the uptight lefties out there, take a breath, Obama called Palin a pig w/lipstick, any outrage from you over that?

I know Zen, and while he is a tad more strident in his views than me, he is no racist, he doesn't even play one on TV.

Obama put himself in the arena, George W. has been called a variety of unsavory things by the left for 8 years, that's tha cost of admission...deal with it.

Keep up the good work Zen, see you Monday at the Woodlands.

Where did that shoeshine picture come from anyway? Was it created by you?

No, if I had made it I would've cleaned the layers up a lot more. ;)

The Democrats are going to win thanks to people like you, Zen. You're a disgrace to the party.

Do you really think a highly esteemed harvard educated law professor who represented a quarter of a million people as state senator for nearly 8 years (and was very well known for working with the other side of the aisle in the state capitol, passing much needed state legislation) is less qualified than a community college flunkee and failed sports reporter who was so incompetent that she had to hire a city manager to run a podunk town that lacked any city works or services to speak of?

I have a piece of prime water front property in Arizona and a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you, my disingenuous and/or naive friend.

why do you call yourself Zen? I assume it's ironic... A Zen master would think so.

I'm also posting anonymously, as I don't have a google acct, but my name is david...

Just because you disagree with his "experience" level, doesn't mean you should endorse a racially-undertoned picture showing, yet again for the umpteenth time, a black man serving a white person. A man of Mr. Obama's education and character deserves better than the characterization of "shoe shine BOY"...and certainly in comparison to Sarah Palin, a woman whose intelligence is so blindly low, that it's not worth making a rational explanation WHY it's so low.

Mr. Obama has not been the only President to enter the office without a certain "requirement" of experience in government. The American people judged that his character and policies was what the nation needed after 8 years of ultra-Republican rule. So be it...that is the will of the people and it should be respected.

Presidents Bush, Clinton, and Bush said essentially the same thing upon leaving office--there is no experience that truly prepares one to be President. In no other position in government does one have access to the level of sensitive information, nor the authority to make the kinds of decisions required of the President. A rational person should understand that the job of POTUS is inherently unique.

Good to see racism still alive and thriving the USA. Also the two worst Presidents in history. Bush one and two really prove that u need lots of corrupt experience first, i mean it takes a special skill to totally ruin a country the way bush did. The GOP are desperately upset that the US has an intelligent non corrupt president.

the picture is totally racist. i bet you right wingnuts would have pooped bricks had a picture of gwb shining kanye west's shoes surfaced.

Why is it that everything is racist if something doesn't quite go their way? The leftist are nothing but little brats saying "I'll tell mommy on you if I don't get my way." Grow up people. Palin would have made a LOT better president than this "buying votes" president we have now. at least we wouldn't be in this mess if Bush was still in the w.h. The 73 year old shouldn't have printed that comic but she has her rights but don't you think all government employees use computers for their own personal use? If the picture was reversed I'd bet the lefts would have said nothing. Stop your whining and use your heads.

Obama is one of the most qualified Presidents we have had in my lifetime. The U. S. President is often thought of as the leader of the free Western world, but I think Obama is the only one the world has actually fully accepted in that capacity, although G. H. W. Bush, the former President's father, came close. Obama has also recognized the limits of the Presidency and gave Congress the chance to design health care reform, which is the only reason it has passed both houses of Congress at all in any form, while Clinton's bill was quickly rejected. (It was short, clear and I even read it and saw its shortcoming.)

Indeed I had a good opinion of Yale University until I learned they graduated George W. Bush even though he admitted to being a college drunk and doing little studying. I had a good opinion of West Point, but I kept it because they passed John McCain who at least is mostly logical, and they placed him near the bottom of his graduating class. Nixon was a pragmatic politician with one serious flaw. Reagan was a figurehead. Clinton was a poll watcher, and the past President I most respect was Jimmy Carter who introduced morality into foreign policy instead of "nations have interests rather than friends."

Obama represents the best of all of them while showing the restraint of a judge.
