Obama Joke

Pinocchio, Snow White, and Superman are out for a stroll in town one day. As they walked they come across a sign: 'Beauty contest for the most beautiful woman in the world.'

'I am entering,' said Snow White.
After half an hour she comes out and they ask her,'Well, how'd ya do?' ' First Place ', said Snow White.

They continue walking and they see a sign: 'Contest for the strongest man in the world.' 'I'm entering,' says Superman and after half an hour he returns and they ask him, 'How did you make out?' ' First Place ,' answers Superman.

They continue walking when they see a sign: 'Contest! Who is the greatest liar in the world?' Pinocchio enters. After half an hour he returns with tears in his eyes. 'What happened?' they asked. 'Who the hell is Obama?' asked Pinocchio.

The Baby Left to Die in Berwick

As many of of you have seen on the news or read in the newspaper, a newborn was left in a plastic bag outside a home in Berwick Pa. on Saturday. The high temp on Saturday was right around 32 degrees. Miraculously, the baby survived. This isn't what I want to write about. I want to write about the reactions to this story by some of our local talk show hosts.

Ultra-liberals Nancy and Kevin Lynn, and mostly liberal Steve Corbett were shocked and saddened by the story as most people would be. I question them as to why that was their reaction. They may have supported different candidates for President but all 3 are pro-abortion and want absolutely no restrictions on abortion. Nancy and Kevin's hero, Barack Obama, has consistently supported live birth abortion. For those that don't know what that is, that is when a baby survives the abortion procedure but is left to die without any care or comfort given to it. I ask anybody that voted for Obama or is pro-abortion; Didn't the woman that abandoned that baby do the exact same thing?

Make no mistake, I think what this woman did is disgusting. I think live birth abortion is disgusting. I just wonder how it is that the left wing crowd could be shocked or saddened by this woman's actions.

The Right Way to Bail Out Ford, GM, and Chrysler

The government shouldn't bail them out but if they are going to (and they are), this is how they should do it.

Instead of the $25 billion bandaid, which is really only meant to bail out the union's bloated pension and benefits fund, they should help the big three get what they need most, customers for their product. Once the parties involved agree to a 40% pay cut for every single employee, at least until a return to profitability, to get rid of all the private jets and other extravagant bullshit they have, and present a revamped business plan, the government should offer a one time $20,000 tax credit to anybody that buys a new GM, Ford, or Chrysler. Here's why;
1. If they sold even 1 million cars (extremely unlikely), and every person that bought one was in the highest tax bracket (even less likely), it would cost only $7 billion. (20,000 x 35% x 1,000,000)
2. Instead of just saving the union pension fund, it would save the union jobs and it would save thousands of jobs at dealerships across America. More people still working are more people to help fuel the economy
3. The newer cars get better fuel economy, less emissions, and much safer than the older cars that people would be getting out of.
4. The massive sales increase would generate the revenue those companies need to survive.

Makes sense to me, how about you?

The Auto Industry Bailout

The bailout of the auto makers is a sham. The only thing that is being bailed out is the United Auto Workers Union. This union has literally destroyed the American owned auto companies. Their cost of labor averages $71 per hour. Compare that to the non-union shops that build cars here, Nissan, Honda, BMW, Toyota, Lexus, etc, whose cost for labor averages $44 per hour. Makes me wonder why the big three can't compete. Take it a step further, the union has bloated benefits and retirement packages that would've sunk those companies eventually even if the economy had stayed strong. Just for you curious folks, the cost of those packages adds literally $2000 to the price of a union made car.

The real question is why is our government even contemplating the bailout? The answer of course is the unions have bought and paid for more politicians than you can shake a stick at. Care to guess how much the UAW gave to Obama? They will get what they want but it will not fix the problem. The auto industry needs customers to buy their product. This bailout, sure as shit, will not do a thing to attract buyers. The end result of the bailout will be the big three continuing down the road to doom. They will not change their business model. They won't be able to curtail labor costs. They won't be able to lower production costs. They won't change their management people or style. The end result is that they will fail anyway. It will just take longer. The proof of this, you ask? Not a single non-union auto maker has asked for help. Guess why? They don't feel they need it.

As I think the government will be bailing out the big three no matter what the people want. I think said bailout should include the following;
1. Massive concessions from the unions so that their cost of labor is in line with the non-union shops. As well as their bloated retirement plans be brought into line with the rest of the industry.
2. Management must also make massive concessions. No more private jets at their beck and call and paid for by the company.
3. Comprehensive changes to marketing, design, and materials sourcing.
4. It should be structured as a loan not a freebie.

At the company's annual shareholder meeting, CEO William Dillard II said the company will close another six under performing stores this year.

Car dealers, franchised and independents, are closing at an escalating pace. While it is not uncommon for independents to close, it is very rare for franchise dealers to close. Normally, they are sold or absorbed into larger chains. Not long ago, most franchises were worth millions. The domestic brand franchises now are worth nothing. The largest GM dealer in the world closed last month. Ask any Ford dealer how much they are in their pocket every month just to stay open. Ask any Chrysler dealer the same question. The largest dealership in NEPA has 15 franchises. In normal times, they sell between 600 and 1000 cars per month. They sold under 200 new cars in October.

The talking heads like Rush want to paint a rosy picture of the economy. I say they should pry their heads out of their asses. We are not only in a recession, we are at the doorway to a full blown depression.

How's the economy?? No, Seriously.

Okay, I know, the economy sucks right? Well my mutual funds are down and..........well, my mutual funds are down. So, I guess I should just go hide in a hole somewhere.

Once again the media is hammering the poor economy point and getting everyone to jump on the "bailout bandwagon". Now GE needs money, there are other labor unions needing money(kind of a coincidence since they all supported Barry), and the whole world's going to Hell in a handbasket. That's IF you believe everything the media tells you.

In case you haven't done this, go out near the malls this coming weekend. I went out Saturday up to the Viewmont Mall area then to Montage. The amount of traffic and packed stores told a different story. I went in to Sam's Club and gave up waiting in line because almost every patron had carts and flatbeds packed with product.

The shops at Montage were filled with shoppers carrying bags from store to store.
Last time I checked, these weren't signs of a struggling economy.

And as for the credit crunch, here's another story for you. I went in Guitar Center and a certain instrument caught my eye. They were having a special with the "Guitar Center" card. I told the salesman I'd take one. He said "oh, with the whole bad economy and credit thing maybe we should make sure we can get you approved first." I just laughed and said "sure, whatever you want." Long story short, I had no problem getting approved for quite a nice amount. So, I'm not a victim of this credit crunch or this "tanking economy" either. And from the looks of all the happy shoppers, the only victims are those people who are believing what the media is telling them without finding out for themselves.

The best email this week for gun owners

The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in defense. (waiting for attack)
The sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more important than either... The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental.
1. Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he'll just kill you.
2. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.
3. I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.
4. When seconds count, the cops are just minutes away.
5. A reporter did a human-interest piece on the Texas Rangers. The reporter recognized the Colt Model 1911 the Ranger was carrying and asked him 'Why do you carry a 45?' The Ranger responded, 'Because they don't make a 46.'
6. The old sheriff was attending an awards dinner when a lady commented on his wearing his sidearm. 'Sheriff, I see you have your pistol. Are you expecting trouble?' 'No Ma'am. If I were expecting trouble, I would have brought my shotgun.'
7. Beware the man who only has one gun. HE PROBABLY KNOWS HOW TO USE IT!!!
But wait, there's more! I was once asked by a lady visiting if I had a gun in the house. I said I did. She said 'Well I certainly hope it isn't loaded!' To which I said, of course it is loaded, can't work without bullets!' She then asked, 'Are you that afraid of someone evil coming into your house?' My reply was, 'No not at all. I am not afraid of the house catching fire either, but I have fire extinguishers around, and they are all loaded too.' To which I'll add, having a gun in the house that isn't loaded is like having a car in the garage without gas in the tank.
Thanks RW!!!!!

Gun Sales are Through the Roof

I don't care which gun store you go to, you will find they are completely sold out of semi-automatic rifles and high capacity pistols. I was at Advanced Arms in Pittston on Saturday. This is a great store and they specialize in the above mentioned guns. They don't advertise, at least not that I've seen, yet there were 23 people in the store looking to buy. If you've seen any news reports, this is a national phenomenon. The real question is why?

Is it because people are certain that Obama with a rubber stamp congress will ban them? I'm certain that's part of it. Is it the fear of Obama forming his own private army that he affectionately calls his "Domestic Security Force"? I would bet that's part of it too. Is it a fear of increased crime as the economy continues to fail? Sure is. The distressing thing is that pres. elect Obama already wants congress to pass special legislation to stop all these gun sales. This was reported last night on network TV news. The moment he said that he further increased demand. The one industry he is having a positive effect on, he wants to crush. Ironic, heyna er no?

I recommend to all, if you're even thinking about purchasing, DO NOT WAIT!!!!!!!! Head on down to Advanced and see Chris. They will steer you in the right direction.

New Deville Limo Concept Car

I swear I didn't make this one. Wonder what size wheels those are?

You Can't Handle The Truth

From A Few Good Men. I think Jack's line when he says "I'd rather you just said thank you" pretty much sum up what we all need to say to veterans.

As the old saying goes "if you can read this, thank a teacher. If you're reading it in English, thank a veteran".

Do I come off as insensitive?

Ok, I'm sick of these bailouts!!!

First of all, the mortgage bailout. When I bought my house I used my head. I didn't overextend myself. And when the slick mortgage salesman said "hey, how about this mortgage where you just pay the interest and never pay on principle?" I laughed at him. Even though I could have bought a bigger house, I'm not gullible. So, why the hell should I be the one to suffer now?? Why is this becoming the standard for America? The people who use their head and who do things right get penalized while the people who know they're taking a gamble and not doing the right thing keep getting bailed out. It's over and done with. It just pisses me off.

So this brings us to the autoworkers. The "Big Three". Hey, guess what? There are more than three auto manufacturers out there.
Why aren't we hearing Toyota and Honda crying and on their knees begging???

Let's look at a few things.

Obama spent election day at the UAW headquarters making phone calls asking people if they voted (for him). Of course, the unions endorsed Obama because, among other things, he's want open voting when workers are voting on unionizing or not. Imagine the harassment and violence that's going to occur when unions don't see names on the sheets once voting begins.

Now that Obama is going to get a green light on every liberal agenda he can think of, the "Big Three" are begging for a bailout. They're out of money. They're out of money because of the unions. Now "we the people" have to bail there asses out. And I don't want to hear shit about the ripples. Just like with the housing industry. If they're producing too much and still charging a premium it's their own fault. Nobody pays the piper anymore for their mistakes. Just the taxpayers.

Toyota has 2 vehicles that are union made. The Tacoma and Corolla. Why isn't Toyota crying??? Why are they not even being mentioned.

The Big Three run network TV adds every commercial break along with sponsor every NFL event out there. They piss money away. I know the commercials aren't the reason for the crisis but guess what? If I don't have money to pay the mortgage I'm not going to go out on a spending spree every day. Common friggin sense!!!

So, Obama is going to make sure we bail out the Big Three. Another entitlement!!

All of you people who voted for Barry really don't get it. He thinks all of America wants his liberal plan pushed through and it's not fair since most of the people who voted for him are not paying any taxes anyway.

Ya know, "natural selection" happens in the business world too. The problem is this country has gotten so use to bailouts it doesn't exist. So when the shit hits the fan and businesses that didn't really deserve to be in business in the first place realize they're screwed without more money, the government has to bail them out again.

Screw that!!!!! This is not Communism, this is not Socialism, this is Capitalism. We need to start acting like it again.

A Great E Mail I Received Today

Fellow Business Executives:

As the CFO of this business that employs 140 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama will be our next President, and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way.

To compensate for these increases, I figure that the Clients will have to see an increase in our fees to them of about 8% but since we cannot increase our fees right now due to the dismal state of our economy, we will have to lay off six of our employees instead. This has really been eating at me for a while, as we believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who will have to go.

So, this is what I did. I strolled thru our parking lot and found 8 Obama bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. These folks wanted change; I gave it to them.

If you have a better idea, let me know.

Obama to Ban Domestic Oil Drilling in Western USA

In what is sure to be of no surprise to anybody in America, Obama announces that one of his first decisions will be to use executive powers to stop the drilling for oil and natural gas in Utah and Montana.

I am certain that the price of oil will drop when he issues that order, not! The majority wanted him. I wonder if they still will as gas prices move back to $4 per gallon.

Major Rules Changes for Golf

THE USGA WOULD LIKE TO INFORM ALL GOLFERS There are some MAJOR rule changes to the game of golf, this may occur sometime after November 4. This is only a preview as the complete rule book is being written now. Here are a couple of basic changes.

Golfers with handicaps: - below 10 will have their green fees increase by 35% -
between 11 and 18 will see no increase in green fees -
above 18 will play for free and even get a check from the club/course played

The $ amount put in for bets will be as follows:
-for handicaps below 10 an additional $10
-between 11 and 18 no additional amount
-above 18 you will receive the total amount in the pot and you do not even have to play.

The term "gimme putt" will be changed to "entitlement" and will be used as follows:
-handicaps below 10, no entitlements
-handicaps above 11 to 17, entitlements for putter length putts
-handicaps above 18, if on green, no need to ever putt, just pick it up
These entitlements are intended to bring about fairness in scoring so that the final scores of all players will be about the same.

In addition, a Player will be limited to a max of one birdie and/or sixpars, any excess must be given to those fellow players who have not yet scored a birdie or par. Only after all players have received a birdie or par from the player making the birdie or par, can that Player begin to count his score again.

The current USGA handicap system will be used for the above purposes but the term "net score" will be available only for scoring those players with handicaps 18 and above. This is intended to "redistribute" the success of winning by making sure that in every competition the above 18 handicap players will post only"net score" against every other player's gross score. These new Rules are intended to CHANGE the game of golf. Golf must be about Fairness Only, it should have nothing to do with Ability.

Shop at Sears!!!!!!!!

Sears shows what it means to support our troops. At a time when we just elected a new president that has nothing but disdain for our men and women in uniform, I thought I'd remind you that no matter who is in the big chair, you need to support our troops. You also need to support businesses that support the troops. Sears is one of those businesses.

I know I needed this reminder since Sears isn't always my first choice. Amazing when you think of how long the war has lasted and they haven't withdrawn from their commitment. Could we each buy at least one thing at Sears this year?
How does Sears treat its employees who are called up for military duty? By law, they are required to hold their jobs open and available, but nothing more. Usually, people take a big pay cut and lose benefits as a result of being called up.
Sears is voluntarily paying the difference in salaries and maintaining all benefits, including medical insurance and bonus programs, for all called up reservist employees for up to two years.
I submit that Sears is an exemplary corporate citizen and should be recognized for its contribution. I suggest we all shop at Sears, and be sure to find a manager to tell them why we are there so the company gets the positive reinforcement it well deserves. Pass it on. I checked this before I posted it.

Please pass this on to all your friends. Sears needs to be recognized for this outstanding contribution and we need to show them as Americans, we do appreciate what they are doing for our military!!!

Just a Typical White Person Clinging Guns and Religion

As any that know me know, I happen to own a few firearms. The two above are what I am adding to my collection. The top is an H&K SL8. Bottom is a Sig 556 in SWAT configuration. I have never owned a Sig rifle before so this one will be my first. I have collected HK's for some time and think they make some of the finest weapons money can buy. A friend bought one of the Sig 556s and loves it, so I thought I'd be a copy cat. I will be adding a Holo sight to the Sig and optics to the HK. If anybody out there has an SL8, let me know what you think of it.
I think "black" guns are going to be the best, safest investment you can make right now and probably will be for some time.

A Little Test for You

Read it until the end and please put your answer in the comments. I will either acknowledge the correct answer or put it in the comments tomorrow if the correct answer isn't there.

I was raised in one country but my father was born in another. I was not his only child. He fathered several children with a number of women. I became very close to my mother because my father showed little interest in me.

Then my mother died at an early age from cancer.

Later in life, questions arose over my real name. My birth records were sketchy and no one was able to produce a reliable birth certificate.

I grow up practicing one faith, but converted to Christianity because this was widely accepted in my country. But I practiced non-traditional beliefs and did not follow mainstream Christianity.

I worked and lived among lower-class people as a young adult before I decided it was time to get serious about my life and I embarked on a new career.

I wrote a book about my struggles growing up. It was clear to those who read my memoirs that I had difficulties accepting that my father abandoned me as a child.

I became active in local politics when I was in my 30s and then burst onto the scene as a candidate for national office when I was in my 40s. I had a virtually non-existent resume, very little work history, and no experience in leading a single organization. Yet I was a powerful speaker who managed to draw incredibly large crowds during my public appearances.

At first, my political campaign focused on my country's foreign policy. I was critical of my country in the last war. But what launched my rise to national prominence were my views on the country's economy. I had a plan on how we could do better. I knew which group was responsible for getting us into this mess.

Mine was a peoples campaign. I was the surprise candidate because I emerged from outside the traditional path of politics and was able to gain widespread popular support. I offered the people the hope that together we could change our country and the world.

I spoke on behalf of the downtrodden including persecuted minorities such as Jews, but my actual views were not widely known until after I became my nations leader. However, anyone could have easily learned what I really believed if they had simply read my writings and examined those people I associated with. But they did not.

Then I became the most powerful man in the world.

Who am I? .

The Obama Administration and the Future

Now that he's won and has an incredible majority in the House and Senate, let's see just what he accomplishes. Who will they blame? I guarantee the excuse will be " We inherited this from Bush". Unfortunately for them, that won't begin to cover the monumental failures and shortcomings of his presidency.

I think there are going to be a great many that are sorely disappointed in the outcome. The main stream media sold their credibility so that he would be elected. Sooner, rather than later they will turn on him as they are so want to do with all presidents but even more so now. You see, they will have to go after him and report the negatives, if for no other reason than to try and get that credibility back. It won't work. The more rabid on the left that believed all of the chosen ones promises are in for a shock when he can't deliver a quarter of those promises. Those same people will turn on the press and ask the question; "Why didn't you tell us?". The MSM will never really be trusted again and frankly, that's a good thing.

I have some predictions of what he will in fact accomplish. Contrary to what many of my fellow conservative contemporaries are saying and writing, I think the damage Obama will do to our country will very likely destroy America. The standard line is that America is just too big and powerful to be brought down in 4 years. The problem with that is that the fall started quite some time ago. Before Bush and his failed, yes I said failed, policies, our country started the slide. We continually elect leaders that do not have their constituent's nor the country's best interests at heart when they enact legislation. They openly admit to it at every turn and yet we re-elect them. They openly steal our tax dollars, what do we do? re-elect them of course. They take bribes in the form of campaign contributions from the organizations they are supposed to oversee, and vote in the interests of those people instead of doing the right thing. Our leaders are doing their best to govern by popular opinion and spin, rather than by what is right. They have sold themselves and our country to the highest bidder. This is what started the end. Below is what will finish America as we know it. In no particular order.

Illegal immigrants will be granted amnesty. This will increase the left's voter base. There is zero doubt this will happen.

The USA will abandon Iraq and Afghanistan. This will totally destabilize the region and bring the Taliban back to power.

TCO's proposed trillion dollar spending plan will not come to reality. He will spend a bunch, to be sure, but nowhere near that. What he will do is increase the tax burden on the 53% of us that currently pay all the tax collected by the IRS. This increased burden will lead to massive job losses due to small businesses choosing to save money rather than retain and hire new employees, further shrinking the numbers that pay taxes. The people that drive the economy, those with disposable income, will have less of that money to spend as more and more goes to taxes. Stores of all types will see ever shrinking revenues and will be forced to cut costs. Guess how. As this spirals into a downward helix, the problems created only intensify and will result in The Great Depression II. Don't worry though, there will be universal health care for you when you lose the job that provides you with great insurance.

TCO's open hand foreign policy will erode America's position as a superpower and embolden our enemies. Some of the effects of his foreign policy will be Iran becoming a nuclear power. Couple that with his plan to reduce our support of Israel and you will see an entirely new conflict in the middle east. Iran will be emboldened by this and will use tactical nukes to keep its stated mission of destroying Israel. Israel will of course use its own nuclear weapons in an effort to save themselves. The difference being that Israel has far more nukes at their disposal and when it comes to self preservation, they will not hesitate in the least to use them against all threats. The supply of oil from the middle east will drop to a trickle. Guess what that will do to the price of fuel.

There will be at least one terrorist attack in America during his first term. America will not respond to that attack.

Congress will back away from off shore drilling and revert to Pelosi and Carney's plan to only allow it 50 miles from the coast. No company will bother drilling there as there is little or no oil there. Fuel prices will do what?

For the first two years of his presidency, he will rubber stamp legislation that the left has been trying to get done for quite some time. We will see sweeping changes to our gun laws. Handguns of any type and semi-automatic rifles will see the most dramatic change. They will either be illegal for a citizen to possess or extremely difficult and expensive to purchase. He will pass draconian legislation that will make doing business for our corporations so difficult that even more will go offshore.

The last two years will be spent very moderately in hopes of re-election. This will not help. The people will remember how bad it is and who got the country to its lowest point.

My crystal ball has gone cloudy. Much of this will be avoided if TCO leads from the middle. I sincerely hope I am wrong about all that I wrote here. I just don't believe in my heart that I am. TCO has been a lifelong hard core liberal and it is extremely unlikely that he will change now. To the contrary, I think he will go even farther to the left.

Black President Richard Pryor

To help cheer up those that need it and to congratulate Obama for being the second African-American to be elected Pres.

Here is the first.

The Doors The End

I truly can't think of a more appropriate song to honor Obama's victory and the beginning of the end of America.

I hope I am wrong. I hope he leads as a centrist. I hope our great country will survive.

black panthers blocking election poll

Another terrorist group is supporting Obama. The Black Panthers are outside polloing places in Philly. They are armed and they are trying to keep whites from voting.

It's Election Day

Of course in Japan it's called erection day.
I was at my polling place at 7:50 this morning and the turnout was incredible! I was number 68 voting in my ward. Normally that is about how many people from my ward vote! I am holding out hope that republicans nationwide will get off their asses and vote. I am hoping against hope that the special koolaid wears off and democrats come to their senses and get out and vote.

If you don't vote, you have no room to complain about the results.

GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vote!! Do anything else you can to make a difference!!

Before or after you vote, make a difference!!!
Do what you can. Talk to people.
It's funny how the media is calling the overwhelming turnout in Obama's favor of course. I guess anyone who is out there voting for the first time ever or in awhile can't possibly be for McCain. Don't fret. They can be and many are.
This morning when I went to vote there was no McCain sign at our polling place. There were tons of Obama signs. After I voted I went home and took the sign out of my yard to put it at the polling place.
Any little thing will matter today.
Don't think it's over.
There's a good chance we're going to upset the Obama apple cart!!!

Dear Pennsylvania Voter

Dear Pennsylvania voter,

Pennsylvania will very likely be the battleground state that determines the winner of this election. This state has 21 electoral votes that John Kerry barely won by less than 1% in 2004. These electoral votes could change the race for McCain if he is able to win, throwing a huge wrench in the works for the Obama campaign and possibly losing them the election. While there may be many more Democrats registered than Republicans in the state this year, I think the media in general is overlooking some important reasons why a large number of those Democrats will vote for McCain.

First, Hillary Clinton, for some reason, is loved in this state. Her father was from Scranton and she has some roots there, but she never lived in PA. Still the city and surrounding areas are quicker to claim her as “one of us” over Joe Biden, who actually lived in the city until he was 10 years old. In the northeast part of the state we have WILK for talk radio and there is a very influential talk show host, Steve Corbett, who is a lefty and huge Hillary Clinton supporter. In the heat of the primary race he was railing for Hillary and taking all kinds of calls from people who said they would “vote for McCain if Hillary loses” or bring up the PUMA (Party Unity My A**) movement. (Remember, Obama lost huge to Clinton in the PA primary). Just this week Corbett announced his endorsement of John McCain, making it abundantly clear that it was both a result of how Hillary was treated and also a rejection of Obama. ( Reference: http://wilknetwork.com/Irish-For-McCain/3247942 )

Second, while the media will have us believe this is a “bad year for Republicans” nationwide, that is without doubt not the case in PA. In the 10th, 11th, and 12th districts we are expecting Republican challengers Chris Hackett, Lou Barletta, and William Russell to defeat Democrat incumbents Chris Carney, Paul Kanjorski, and Jack Murtha respectively. Carney won a fluke over disgraced Don Sherwood in a Republican district last election, and both Kanjorski and Murtha can’t stop ramming their feet into their mouths. As a resident of the 11th, I feel it is going to be a very good year for PA Republicans.

Third, The congressional election of Jack Murtha is most relevant to the Presidential election because some of his statements have stoked racial tensions in line with the overall racial tones of the Obama campaign. Portraying someone as racist is one of the most harmful things you can do to a person. It is also the greatest insult you could make if it happens to not be true. Barack Obama very gracefully did this and more by saying that because of economic conditions in parts of Pennsylvania, people are “bitter” reducing themselves to what they are most familiar with and treating others who do not look or act like them with “antipathy”. Jack Murtha was more straight forward saying that “there is no question that western Pennsylvania is a racist area”. I can tell you that we do not appreciate anyone calling us racist, especially not one of our own, and we don’t give a rat’s behind what people in San Francisco think about us.

Fourth, Pennsylvania is one of the largest coal suppliers in the U.S. We are currently selling much of the highest quality coal we produce to Canada which has been very helpful to the PA economy, though we are facing challenges from China under cutting prices unfairly. Barack Obama has openly stated his intentions to bankrupt the coal industry by making them buy carbon tax credits to make up for the so called “greenhouse gases” they omit. Joe Biden has stated that there will be no more coal plants built in this country. He said China should build new plants “over there” so that they could keep the pollution and, consequently, continue pressuring our domestic coal companies out of business. A government that is supportive of building new coal power plants that use technology to reduce carbon emissions while helping our domestic industry compete with China will not only help Pennsylvania, it will help the entire country’s economy while contributing to a goal of energy independence. (Reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hdi4onAQBWQ )

Finally, many Pennsylvanian towns across the state carry long standing reputations for having a strong work ethic as part of our culture. The people who live in these areas are generally happy to help those in need, but don’t think that hand outs from the government help anyone. (There is plenty of evidence that this perspective is correct consistently throughout the history of civilization). Recognition of the failures of Socialism and general disdain for Communism are the prevailing sentiments where I am from. People here are not interested in the kind of change that would even appear to move the country in that direction. And since the subject of Obama’s self revealing stance on redistribution of wealth has become publicly known, I am seeing many more “Another Democrat for McCain” signs planted in front yards. This same subject is what has ignited our grass roots campaigns in Pennsylvania which are growing due to people driving in from across the country or coming in on buses from New York and New Jersey to volunteer in our areas, knocking on doors and making phone calls. I believe this is why our Governor, Ed Rendell, called the Obama campaign back to the state and why Obama continues to spend money here.
Will the impact of northeastern, central, and western Pennsylvania be able to overcome Philadelphia and Pittsburgh? I believe it will. I think the majority of Pennsylvania’s population is not convinced about Obama’s experience or his ability to be President. Remember Joe Biden said that Obama will be tested with an international crisis in his first six months as President. And we don’t want Democrats in total control of Washington D.C. I also think that people in general don’t like foregone conclusions from an insolent media when they haven’t had the chance to be heard yet. We’ll see if I’m right on Tuesday. I am looking forward to the end of this election cycle and the media coverage that came with it, but I fully intend to continue fighting until we win Pennsylvania for John McCain on Tuesday.
If you have friends or family members that have been discouraged in recent weeks about the prospect of the PA election, please pass this message along. We won’t go down without fighting first. And make sure you get out to vote on Tuesday!
Sincerely,
D. the Plumber

Is Anyone Else Out There Afraid???

Ok, I honestly have to say this is the first time in my life I feel so helpless about what may be about to happen. I don't know what kind of Voodoo spell or mind altering subliminal messages were used to sway the masses to Obama.
I've never in my life come across so many people who are just complacent and lazy when it comes to defending their candidate. I've spoken to so many Obama supporters with the hope of getting into an intelligent political debate only to find THEY DON'T CARE. They can't defend their candidate. They can't give you ANY reason to vote for him other than "he's going to change things" or "he's in touch". What a bunch of crap!!!
I keep asking and no one will give me reasons.
Let me poke a few holes in Obama's talking points he's been using:

He's NOT just like us unless many of you reading this live in a 1.65 million dollar house while your brother lives in a hut in Kenya and your aunt lives in the projects. But he claims he's his brother's keeper?? Gee, I shudder when I think of how he's going to take care of all of us.

He is NOT who the people wanted. Hillary lost the nomination because of early voting even though she won all of the major states like CA, OH, FL, PA, and TX. Honestly, if this "disqualifying" of votes had occurred in the general you KNOW there would have been riots and protests.

He will NOT help this economy at all!!! Taxing the people who already pay more taxes then anyone else will not have a positive effect on ANYONE!! It's basic economics. But the sheep continue to follow.

Sure, the man is charismatic. He's a slick salesman!!! Anyone who is reading this who has ever been involved in sales knows what I'm talking about. His sales pitch is perfect. Tell the "customer" what they're going to "get" if they pick him. And the biggest sales trick of all........"assumed consent". Assume he already got the sale. He already won. Then the easy targets all sit there shaking their head yes and cast their vote for what will be their biggest mistake ever.

If he wasn't sexist, he would have allowed Hillary to be the nominee or what have asked her to run with him. That would have locked the win. If he wasn't sexist, her wouldn't have called female reporters "sweetie" on two occasions.

If he wasn't racist, he wouldn't have made the comments about small town Americans clinging to their guns and religion. Yes, RACIST. It goes both ways people. Small town WHITE American hicks, rednecks, coal miners, take your pick. He was referring to any of you who go to your local church on a regular basis. He was referring to all of you hunters and/or gun owners. He DOESN'T understand any of you.

It's just so frustrating. Ask an Obama supporter about any of the bad stuff and they keep saying it doesn't matter. The man is getting a pass on everything. What he must think of the mentality of his supporters.

I, as a McCain supporter, can make the argument for my candidate. He wants to let all of us keep more of our money because he knows we will spend it wisely. He wants America to be rich again by using our own resources and bringing back jobs by not having the U.S. as the second most expensive place in the world to do business. He has ALWAYS put his country first before himself from being a POW to campaign finance reform. He has a proven track record on all this.

I'll have a clear conscience tomorrow morning when I cast my vote. And once the Dems see it's closer than they thought it would be they'll do what they did in 2004 and go pick up people and offer "smokes for votes" and they'll "discover" stacks of punch cards that conveniently have that one hole punched or dimpled on every card with a vote for Obama. The writing's on the wall. They couldn't pull it off the last two times. This time they have a plan A, B, and C. They'll win. It'll be close but they'll find a way to make it happen.

When it does, I think I'll just quit my job and wait for that government handout. Why should I bust my balls every day working hard so people can sit on their porches and watch me go to work. Drinking and smoking, getting tattoos and fake nails with my tax dollars. That's the life for me. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em right?

I wish I drank the Koolaid. I wish I ignored all of the facts. I wish I could just follow the media blindly and accept everything they feed me. I wish I could be like those of you out there who will be pulling the lever for Obama. But I can't. I just don't get it. And nobody could give me a good enough reason to get it.

Obama is an Asshole, Best Joke on the Internet

A guy was traveling through Mexico on vacation when, low and behold,he lost his wallet and all identification. Cutting his trip short,he attempted to make his way home, but was stopped by a MexicanCustoms Agent at the Tijuana border."May I see your identification, por favor, seƱor?" asked the agent."I'm sorry, but I lost my wallet," replied the guy."Si, amigo, I hear that every day. No ID, no crossing the border,"said the agent."But I can prove that I'm an American!" he exclaimed. "I have apicture of Bill Clinton tattooed on one butt cheek and a picture ofHillary Clinton tattooed on the other.""This I must see," replied the agent. With that, the Americandropped his pants and bent over in front of the agent."Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, you're right!" exclaimed the agent. "Have a safe trip back to Chicago, Senor.""Thanks!" he said. "But why do you think I'm from Chicago ?"The agent replied, "I recognized Barack Obama in the middle!
