Gov. Ed Rendell Wants to Ban Assault Weapons

This link is to the story of our wonderful governor and his position on "assault" weapons. He wants them banned and feels that anybody that either owns one or wants to own one is an irrational fool. This really shouldn't come as a surprise to any of us. Fast Eddie has always been a devout Obamanite and continues to swill the special koolaid. The only reason our current president hasn't already begun a serious push for a ban like this is because he knows it's political suicide. Fast Eddie is just being used as a pawn and frankly, he's probably too stupid to realize it.
Obama and his minions would like nothing better than to see the second amendment stricken from the constitution. An unarmed populace is far easier to rule and control. The fact that they can't do that immediately probably doesn't bother them at all. They are patient and will make it a full court press move when the timing is right.
For them and Governor Rendell D (ouchebag), I have a question. Do you remotely realize just how many gun owners there are? Do you really think any sane police officer is going to go on a gun confiscation mission? Do you really think our armed forces want any part of becoming jackbooted thugs for you?
I think this issue, more than any other, will precipitate the next American Revolution. I think people will fight before they give up their rights. I think a lot of people are going to get killed for no other reason than to try to make a liberal douchebag's wet dream come true. Please, I beg of you, pull your heads from out of your asses.

Do I come off as insensitive?
Ok, I'm sick of these bailouts!!!
First of all, the mortgage bailout. When I bought my house I used my head. I didn't overextend myself. And when the slick mortgage salesman said "hey, how about this mortgage where you just pay the interest and never pay on principle?" I laughed at him. Even though I could have bought a bigger house, I'm not gullible. So, why the hell should I be the one to suffer now?? Why is this becoming the standard for America? The people who use their head and who do things right get penalized while the people who know they're taking a gamble and not doing the right thing keep getting bailed out. It's over and done with. It just pisses me off.
So this brings us to the autoworkers. The "Big Three". Hey, guess what? There are more than three auto manufacturers out there.
Why aren't we hearing Toyota and Honda crying and on their knees begging???
Let's look at a few things.
Obama spent election day at the UAW headquarters making phone calls asking people if they voted (for him). Of course, the unions endorsed Obama because, among other things, he's want open voting when workers are voting on unionizing or not. Imagine the harassment and violence that's going to occur when unions don't see names on the sheets once voting begins.
Now that Obama is going to get a green light on every liberal agenda he can think of, the "Big Three" are begging for a bailout. They're out of money. They're out of money because of the unions. Now "we the people" have to bail there asses out. And I don't want to hear shit about the ripples. Just like with the housing industry. If they're producing too much and still charging a premium it's their own fault. Nobody pays the piper anymore for their mistakes. Just the taxpayers.
Toyota has 2 vehicles that are union made. The Tacoma and Corolla. Why isn't Toyota crying??? Why are they not even being mentioned.
The Big Three run network TV adds every commercial break along with sponsor every NFL event out there. They piss money away. I know the commercials aren't the reason for the crisis but guess what? If I don't have money to pay the mortgage I'm not going to go out on a spending spree every day. Common friggin sense!!!
So, Obama is going to make sure we bail out the Big Three. Another entitlement!!
All of you people who voted for Barry really don't get it. He thinks all of America wants his liberal plan pushed through and it's not fair since most of the people who voted for him are not paying any taxes anyway.
Ya know, "natural selection" happens in the business world too. The problem is this country has gotten so use to bailouts it doesn't exist. So when the shit hits the fan and businesses that didn't really deserve to be in business in the first place realize they're screwed without more money, the government has to bail them out again.
Screw that!!!!! This is not Communism, this is not Socialism, this is Capitalism. We need to start acting like it again.

The Chosen One
Contrary to how Rush and other broadcasters from the right are spinning it, I think we are going to see Obama become president. I think his presidency will be an unmitigated catastrophe for America but that doesn't change what I see happening. I am not clairvoyant or capable of prescient thought. However, I can read the writing on the wall.
In Obama, we have a candidate running for the highest office in the land yet isn't being even remotely scrutinized by the media. Consider the following;
1. He is being sued in Federal Court challenging his eligibility to even hold the office he seeks. Have any of you seen that reported in any major newspaper? seen it reported on any major television news program?
2. His campaign is in bed with ACORN. Last I heard, they are being investigated in 17 states for voter registration fraud. The only coverage this gets is to separate Obama from them when he is in fact paying them millions to do exactly what they are doing.
3. The governor of Pa, Fast Eddie Rendell, has openly called those investigations a Jim Crow tactic. In other words, it's racist. As a matter of fact, any criticism of Obama is called racist in the MSM.
4. He openly promotes the redistribution of wealth, as UN-American idea as is possible. Where is the outrage in the media? from the public?
5. He promises nearly $1 trillion in new spending while cutting taxes for 95% of the population. A fiscal impossibility. Remind me again, was it 20/20, Nightline, or 60 Minutes that pointed that out to the public? That's right, not one journalist nor show did.
The list is positively endless of these points. Any other candidate would have been roasted in the Press for any of those I listed. Can you imagine if John McCain, Hillary Clinton, or any one else being tied to any of those points? Not just tied to one, but they said it out loud to the media, what would've happened? THEY WOULD'VE HAD TO MOVE TO OUTER MONGOLIA TO ESCAPE THE OUTRAGE AND SCORN!!!!!!!! Not our buddy Barry though.
Add to that, this; There will no longer be any checks and balances in our federal government. Obama will have a super majority in the House and Senate. How will any of the left's radical plans for America be stopped? Armed revolt by the citizens? Maybe that's why a prominent tenet of the far left is an unarmed populace. Subjects without guns are a fook load easier to control.
I sincerely hope that I'm just being pessimistic.

In fact you will never get any kind of job making a decent living. People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an education, and now we've got these knuckleheads walking around.
The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal. These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids. $500 sneakers for what?? And they won't spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics. I am talking about these people who cry when their son is standing there in an orange suit. Where were you when he was 2?? Where were you when he was 12?? Where were you when he was 18 and how come you didn't know that he had a pistol?? And where is the father?? Or who is his father? People putting their clothes on backward: Isn't that a sign of something gone wrong? People with their hats on backward, pants down around the crack, isn't that a sign of something? Or are you waiting for Jesus to pull his pants up? Isn't it a sign of something when she has her dress all the way up and got all type of needles [piercing] going through her body? What part of Africa did this come from?? We are not Africans. Those people are not Africans; they don't know a thing about Africa . With names like Shaniqua, Taliqua and Mohammed and all of that crap, and all of them are in jail. Brown or black versus the Board of Education is no longer the white person's problem. We have got to take the neighborhood back. People used to be ashamed. Today a woman has eight children with eight different 'husbands' -- or men or whatever you call them now. We have millionaire football players who cannot read. We have million-dollar basketball players who can't write two paragraphs. We, as black folks have to do a better job. We have to start holding each other to a higher standard. We cannot blame the white people any longer.'

Obama Shining Palin's Shoes While Throwing Away Our Society
Today, I saw something I've never seen before in America. What is commonplace in Cuba and Venezuela has now happened here. People from the left, the card carrying members of the A.C.L.U., think that those of us from the right are the great censors. Obama, his minions, and the kool aid drinkers, have proved them wrong. Today, the left has removed a video because they don't want us to see it because it didn't paint them in a holy light.
Today, a skit from Saturday Night Live was withdrawn from the internet quicker than the recipe for meth. The skit I refer to was about the mortgage and financial meltdown and who really was at fault. Starring in the parody were actors portraying Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, George Soros, and George W. Bush. Like most of the modern SNL skits, it wasn't terribly funny. I believe the left's problem was that it was far too close to the truth.
The real problem that I have is if Obama can have this done now, what will he be able to censor if he becomes President???????

The Democrats and the Mortgage Meltdown
Being in the financial sector myself, let me tell you all a truism. People with bad credit have bad credit for a reason; They don't pay their bills!! It is not rocket science to figure that out. There are many reasons why somebody can have bad credit. Be it job loss, medical issues, bad spending habits, or just not giving a crap about paying your debts. When the big bad bankers were forced to loosen their credit standards to facilitate Clinton's community Wet dream, what did people think would happen? Now, we all will have to pay for it. Actually not all of us, just those in the top 50% income bracket. That same group of people that not only pay for everything else in America, but also tend to have the best credit scores.
