Who's calling who a RINO?

I have to ask all of you Hackett supporters what you think of his getting Specter to endorse him.
I specifically remember during the primary all of you screaming at the top of your lungs that Arlen Specter was a RINO and Dan Meuser's association with him was reason enough not to support Meuser.
You all called Specter every name in the book. Saying Chris Hackett was a "real" Republican.
So...........anyone???........anyone??
What's up with this?
How does it make you feel now that you all look like idiots because your man totally back doored all of you and aligned himself with Arlen??

I can't vote in your district but I would have to vote for hacket after I heard Carney repeat the "68 million acres for the oil companies" line of BS.

Carney is nothing but a lock step voting lefty. Of course that's jusy my opinion. We need to support a congress and senate that will work with McCain. I hope you change your mind.

hackett went far out of his way to burn bridges. bridges he needed to win this election

publicy stating that he doesn't need or want the support of the most prominent families in our area? wtf was he thinking?

I like & respect Arlen Specter, I have absolutely no use for Chris Hackett, this one is a real head scratcher.

Hackett has positioned himself as one who opposes virtually everything that Arlen Specter represents. Specter surely knows this, and yet there they are, an odd couple if ever I saw one.

I guess it doesn't hurt Arlen any, he can say that he tried to help Hackett, but I don't see how this helps Hackett in any way, shape or form.

As much as I admire Specter, he won't sway my vote, and I presume that most of those who weren't going to vote for Hackett still won't.

If may actually hurt Hackett with the hard-liners who he aligns himself with, the Pat Toomeys of the world, and the Club for Growth.

Either way Hackett is circling the bowl, and God willing he be flushed next Tuesday.

This is just another example of why the republicans will unfortunately allow Carney to retain his seat: because the republicans in the 10th who are/were running against Carney all had poorly run campaigns. Hackett's campaign's inability to nail Carney on key issues resulted in a last ditch attempt to convince republican voters in the district to get out and vote for their party. Unfortunately, Hackett's campaign picked the wrong spokesperson - the most liberal republican in PA supporting someone touting conservative values. It doesn't make sense. It's like wiping before you poop. It just doesn't make sense.

prsent,
you owe me a new shirt!!! I shot coffee out of my nose when I read "wiping before you poop".
That's great. Good analogy.
I am, however, going to watch the debate tonight and be objective as I can.

I hate to say it, but I think Hackett won the debate. That being said, he is still going to get cruched in the election. Carney will dominate him completely.
