I bet that title got some attention and now that I have it;

This is a quote from my friend Gort42's blog; The Luzerne  County GOP picnic had about 50 attend but they have gone back to the old ways of fighting each other. Urbanski won the Chair so the Casey supporters will boycott everything. More on that later in the week.

While I can certainly imagine what he will write, I thought I would chime in with my not so humble opinion. 

First, I never really was a Casey "supporter" and we disagreed, sometimes vehemently, on many things. That being said, I have heard nothing of an organized boycotting of any county events. Terry Casey and I most often disagreed on his "big tent" theory of including all no matter what their transgressions may be. My point was always; If they actively work against the party or in fact campaign for Democrats when we have a Republican candidate, who needs them. Terry never saw it that way.

It is a well known and established fact that even when Casey was chairman of the county party that there were members of the executive committee as well as elected committee people that actively campaigned for Democratic Party candidates. This didn't start under Casey's chair but long before. Frankly, I won't name names or "out" all of those in the County Republican Party that do this as they are all well known and can be seen at any large Democratic fundraiser. Think any Yudichak, Mundy, or Pashinski fundraiser and you'll probably recall seeing them there. (btw, I do in fact keep a ledger)

Do I understand supporting a friend running for office? Sure I do but when you sit on the executive committee of your county's party, you cannot do it. Period, end of story.

Well those that were best at this duality are now back running the county party. Does this mean I won't go to a county event? Absolutely not!! I haven't heard one other person tell me that they are boycotting anything either. Fact is I will probably see some of you at the Luzerne County Republican's Fall dinner!!

Why Hasn't the Price of Gas, Diesel, and Fuel Oil Dropped?

Now that the populace has their attention focused on the failed bailout, I'd like to ask a few open questions of not just our incumbent politicians but also of those seeking to unseat them.

The price of crude oil has fallen approximately 32% from its all time high. It closed yesterday at $96. per barrel. The price of gas has fallen just 12%. Why is that? What are you going to do about it?

Wall Street may be in a downward spiral now, but it will recover. What has me concerned, and should have everybody concerned, is the cost of energy is hitting those with the least, the hardest. Where is that so called Democratic Leadership that cares so much about the poor and middle class? Here in the Northeast, I think that there are going to be many families that aren't going to be able to heat their homes and afford gas to drive to work. What are their options going to be? Do one and not the other? Do neither and feed their families?

The solution, sure as shit, is not Barry's "Windfall Tax" plan. Companies will just pass that cost on. In particular, I am asking the 15-20 people from house.gov and senate.gov that read this site each and every day. I am asking specifically for Paul Kanjorski, Chris Carney, Lou Barletta, Chris Hackett, Bob Casey, and Arlen Specter to give us all some answers!!

They don't have anything better to do?

Today, a genius liberal, left wing douche swilling scumbag, proposed that the federal government apologize to black folks for slavery. Do these fooking asskissers have nothing better to do? How about 4 buck a gallon gas? Heating oil prices? fuck that, let's focus on a bullshit issue. We pay these fooking wankers for this?????????? I have a novel idea, anybody that wants reparations can have a choice. A one way ticket back to the motherland or zilch. I can say this because I can trace my family roots before the revolution. As a matter of fact, on my father's side I can go back to the Shoshone tribe of American Indians. On my mother's side, my family has been here long before the Am. Revolution. As a pure matter of fact, you all owe me money. My family never owned slaves. They never wanted to own slaves. I think we should be paid for the lost income of not having slaves. Am I a bad person?? Am I a racist??? For Christ's sake, read the courthouse briefs in the paper.

With all the hoopla about Obama and the country ever more leaning to the left, I just wanted to ask a few questions

The Democrats have the majority in the House and the Senate. Exactly what have they accomplished?

Gas at $4.00 per gallon or more. Succeeded!!
Diesel approaching $5.00 per gallon. Succeeded!!!
Home heating oil approaching $5.00 per gallon. Succeeded!!!
Economy far worse now than it was two years ago. Succeeded!!!
Brought our troops home? Failed.
Housing and cars sales at worst levels in years. Succeeded!!!
Recession walking through the front door and raiding the fridge. Succeeded!!!
Approval ratings even more dismal than Bush's. Succeeded!!!

What exactly have they done that is remotely deserving of support?? Somebody please tell me.
